An Armstrong & A Heffernan
armstrong logo heffernan logo David made me update this page.

The most interesting part of this site for most folks will be the family tree but I also have some special things for researchers.

The Surnames link shows all the surnames in my online database - remember that I have information on about 12,000 more people than what I have online. I only post information on my direct ancestors and their children. Their grandchildren are probably in my database, just not listed here.

On the Transcriptions page I have listed some of my early work. Please ignore the poor formatting.

Old Home Page - I have some old family photos and links to some interesting items. Included are a diary from Jack's side of the family and a biography and some letters from my side.

The image at top left is a badge created to show support for the family who used the tartan and crest (the arm) depicted in it. In this case, it's for my Scottish Armstrong ancestors who were outlaws and were deported to Ireland before coming to America.
At top right is the shield generally used in coats of arms for the name Heffernan, although the design was owned by a distant Heffernan (or maybe Ifearnin, there are a lot of spellings for this surname) and NOT his children or grandchildren.
