3973 I added Corinth Foster from a death record that only lists surnames for her parents. It's possible that she doesn't belong to Columbus and Zettie. There are at least two other Baskerville-Jones marriages. BASKERVILLE, Corinth (I21679)

3974 I almost missed this child. The name on the certificate is Homer Winfrey with Grady? written above. His father's name is Hugo but the Desonto part was over-written and difficult to read. His mother's surname is Jewel Hazel Lucas and says ahe was born in Oklahoma with a question mark. WINFREY, Homer Grady (I21690)

3975 I am looking for information on an Edward Stroud/Strode who married an Eleanor Shephard/Shepherd in 1720. They had at least one child named Letitia Stroud who married Jacob Van Meter in 1741.

For a very detailed and well researched history of Edward Strode and wife Eleanor (last name is not proven) see the fine book: "In search of the Strode Orphans" by David C. McMurtry and others. Available from Mil-Mac Publishers, 303 Zandale Drive, Lexington KY.

3977 I am not 100% certain that this Alfred and Nackey are my AP and Nancy. FORD, Nancy Jane (I64)

3978 I am still looking for more information on George and Pheby Martin. I have looked at several court and land records of the 1790s in Knox and Hawkins counties. Knox county was established from Hawkins in 1792, so I went back into Hawkins county and did some research and didn't find anything on George so far. I did find an account of the sale of George's estate in 1826, the final amount was $201.79-1/2, exe. was Samuel Martin. (Source: Knox County Estate Book 4, pg 96, FHL mf. no. 851-076). On page 130 was a list of men who were part of the final settlement. Among those listed were James, George, Samuel and John Martin. I was hoping to find a marriage for George and Pheby but no luck. Will keep on looking. Audrey (from GenForum).

3982 I am unsure of everything about Captain Dan after he left Texas. Mamaw said "one of them went off to New Mexico and was never heard from again".

There is an article in
WILLS, Capt Daniel Shackleford (I3681)

3983 I am unsure of this marriage. PEMBERTON, Esther (I19705)

3984 I believe Barbara died in New York State. ???, Barbara (I10085)

3985 I believe Charity and Louisiana may be the same person unless Chillion was courting two women at the same time or there were two Chillions. I've put all the children with Louisiana for now. Louisa's death record says her mother was Charity. Hiram's says Louisiana. I found no marriage record for Louisa or Louisiana Murphy. Most family researchers name her Charity Louisiana Murphy.

I've also seen his name spelled Kylian and Kilen, so the Ch is pronounced K, like Killian.

I can't find anything on Byram, Mary, or Martha. Flemming isn't on the 1860 Census so I have marked him deceased before that.
CARTER, Chillion (I21315)

3986 I believe James is in Scurry County with his daughter in 1920. If so, he died there in 1925. BERRY, James W (I22925)

3987 I believe Mary and Isabella are the same person but someone messed up her age on her death record. DENTON, Mary Isabella (I22915)

3988 I believe Sarah and Mary are the same person. MAHURIN, Sarah J (I22629)

3989 I believe that Almira died just after the 1900 census and the children moved back to New York and lived in the Bronx. WILEY, Almira H (I22229)

3990 I believe that Willieam was dead by the 1880 Census. I find no records after 1860 that I know for sure are him. SPARKS, William (I6515)

3991 I believe the youngest son was adopted so I have marked him "living". I DO know his adoptive parents' names and his wife's name.
I also have a bit more detail on Lela Mae's death.

3992 I believe theri marriage record is under Jeff B Desney and Alice Rider. DISNEY, Jesse Brown (I3533)

3994 I believe this is actually Milburn's birth record. KIRKPATRICK (I21062)

3995 I believe this is the Mary C Botts buried in Denver but I need proof. ACHORD, Mary C (I10797)

3996 I believe this is the William, born December 1866, who married Mary about 1887 and lived in Polk Township during the 1900 Census. Lucy is his second wife and her second marriage. William and Lucy are first cousins. WYATT, William Thomas (I12264)

3997 I believe this might be Elijah. MCCURRY, Elijah (I11275)

3998 I can no longer find this electronic article, although I believe it was published either by the State of Louisiana or the National Archives. Source (S658)

3999 I can't find a death record nor a cemetery record for him. He is probably buried on the Carter farm. CARTER, William B (I21320)
