BMCM (US Navy, Ret.) Troy N. Fincher, 89, of North Kingstown, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Fumie "Terri" Charron. Born in Bardwell, TX, he was a son of the late Richard T. and Belle (Armstrong) Fincher. A thirty year US Navy Veteran, he served in WWII, Korea and as a swift boat operator in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing cards and golfing. He was the brother of the late Lizzie Bettenger, George, Grandlee, Howard, Richard and Vena Fincher. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11am in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to gather in the Administration parking lot at 10:45am.
