Billie L. Pipkin, age 97, of Tyler, Texas peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. She was born on April 18, 1920 in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Joseph Franklin and Merle Marguerite Wiggins Millican. She lived in Houston 40 years prior to moving to Tyler 26 years ago. She was a realtor, homemaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Claud E. Pipkin Jr., Houston, Robert J. Pipkin, Alba, and Lynn A. Pipkin, Tomball; daughters, Barbara J. Johnston, Tyler, and Gail Murphy, League City; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home ? 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX, 77079.
A Burial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
