My dear Son,
It has pleased God to suffer our enemies once more to brake us up as a family, but I trust in the goodness and mercy of God that it will be for the benefit and happiness of your excellent Brother to draw his attachment from an undeserving object-which was the only thing that could reconcile me for his leaving Dover. Our breaking up house keeping. I fondly hoped to have seen all my dear children in their native place.
