Donald Loyde Holder, 79 of Liberty Hill, passed away October 25, 2015 at his home in Liberty Hill. He was born May 27, 1936 in Rockdale, Texas to Nettie Shepherd and W.A. Holder. Don raised his family in Round Rock where he also owned his own business as a plumbing contractor. Outside of spending time with his family, Don enjoyed fishing hunting and playing bingo. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilburn Holder, Willie Holder, Emmitt Holder, Dennis Lee Holder and Pryor Holder; sisters, Ima Holder Senn,and Nona Joyce Holder Williams. He was also preceded in death by his son, Aubrey Glen Holder, and wife of 26 years, Lavon Cantrell Holder. Don is survived by his son ...; daughters.... He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with J.W. Hicks, Jr. officiating. The Gabriels Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Holder, Wayne Gilmore, Chris Gilmore, Cody Shorten, Shiloh Shorten, and Justin Gilmore.
