Ben G. Griffith, 83, was surrounded by family as he peacefully left this earth on Friday, January 29. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Marjorie, his son, Spencer Griffith, son and daughter in law, Lewis and Dee Dee Griffith, daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Ron Harris, grandchildren Nicole, Natasha, Robert & his wife, Jayme, Michael, David, Elliott, Nisha, great grandchildren, Heather and Ariel, numerous loving relatives, and scores of friends who have become extended family.
Ben retired after more than 45 years from Texas Electric Steel Casting Company and was a 39 year resident of Oak Ridge North. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive. Funeral services will be held at Conroe Church of Christ, 1500 North Frazier in Conroe, Texas on Thursday at 10 a.m. A military graveside ceremony will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran Memorial Drive, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Conroe Church of Christ Building Fund.
