  • Notes 
    • The 1850 Census in Monroe County has four Harlan families listed at the end of August. Next to Francis is James, I have added him as a brother but don't know that positively. After James is Charity, age 68, with Willie, Samuel, Sarah, Julia and Joseph. Then we have William, age 42, with Mary, Annie, Hezekiah, Amy, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, Temple, Hulda and Zachariah.
