  Jennifer Ann Bernard, 44, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2002 in Phoenix after an extended illness. She was born February 11, 1958, in Galveston and was an LVN at Phoenix hospitals. Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, David Schmidt; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.F. Schmidt; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Holzworth. Survivors include her mother of La Porte; two daughters, of La Porte; son of Tucson, Arizona; sister Donna of La Porte; cousins, of Hitchcock and League City; numerous nieces. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 17, 2002, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with the Rev. Bobby Cain officiating.
