  Graveside services for Mr. Irving C. Wimberly, of Carthage, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Panola County Restland Memorial Park with Rev. John Wills and Rev. Rita Wills officiating. Mr. Wimberly, 72, died Monday, April 6, at the Marshall Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1914 in Marion County, he was the son of Irving and Eva Lee Wimberly Beene. Mr. Wimberly had lived in Carthage since 1954 and was a retired lumberman. He was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife: Christine Wimberly, of Carthage; three daughters, Carol Barton, Janette Mahurin, and Eleanor Salter, all of Longview; one sister, Joyce Beene, of Longview; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Ken Andrus, Carl Barton, Mickey Browning, Reagan Cassity, Fred Tyler, and Paul Tyler. Honorary Pallbearers are: W.C. Hebert, Dr. V.M. Holland, LeRoy LaSalle, and Dr. W.C. Smith.
