  Strain - Mrs Martha I Strain, aged 77, formerly of 1309 Parmalee Rd, NW, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Louis Diel, 746 Bristol Ave, NW, Tuesday morning. Besides Mrs Diehl she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs Esther McQuade of Toldeo, Mrs Ruth Bierly and Mrs Dorothy Anderson, both of Greenville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs Sarah Strain of Springfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Van'tHof Funeral Home, the Reverend S Thayer officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Mrs Strain reposes at the funeral home where relatives and friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday.
