  Old Resident of Valley is Called Ruth Bailey Cramer, one of the oldest residents of the valley, died Saturday evening, March 10. She was born in Sandy Lake, Pa, October 11, 1834, where she lived until in her twenties. In her early womanhood she taught school in her home county. She was married in 1864 to William Cramer of Illinois. And to them were born five children all of whom preceded their parents to the Home Beyond by many years. Mr and Mrs Cramer began married life in Knoxville, Ill. Later they removed to Paxton, Ill, ... Mr Cramer passed away just one year ago, lacking 2 days previous to Mrs Cramer's death, and was buried one year ago yesterday (March 14). ... Her only near relatives whom she leaves are her brother, A S Bailey, and his children, Harold Bailey, Meritt Bailey, Miss Elsie Bailey and Mrs J H McClure, all of Hemet. ... The funeral was held in the Hemet Methodist church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Dr J R Wilson officiating. The Kingham funeral home was in charge.
