  Page 2 - San Antonio - Services for Floyd H. Theiss, 78, of Kerrville, who died Thursday in a San Antonio hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church in Kerrville with the Rev. Douglas McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville. A resident of this city for 16 years, Mr. Theiss was bom Feb. 8,1913, in Spring. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Kerrville and a former longtime resident of Bishop. He was employed with the Champlian Petroleum Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1975. He was instrumental in forming the Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Kerr County. He married Marie Gray on June 22, 1940, in Kingsville. She survives. Other survivors include daughter- in-law Diane Marie Theiss; five sisters, Florence Scherer and Joyce James, both of Kerrville and Stella Stanford, Roberta Klein and Thelma Smith, all of Houston; and two granddaughters, Julie Eileen and Jennifer Dawn Theiss. Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
