- There is a Samuel Gamble listed aboard the Pennsylvania Farmer leaving Ireland in October 1772 and arriving in Charleston in December. There are many people named Gamble in the "Old Shell Creek" Cemetery in Wilcox County, Alabama, but I have not tried to sort the relationships.
