Louise W. Lemire Garibaldi Louise W. Lemire Garibaldi, 88, a lifelong resident of Galveston, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 13, 2006. She loved to cook, entertain, and spoil her grandchildren the most. She also loved gardening, bowling, and bingo. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 880. She retired from G.I.S.D after 22 years of service as a cafeteria manager. She was preceded in death by three spouses: Fred E. Lemire, Sr., Jack S. Walters, and Robert S. Garibaldi; three brothers: John W. Holzworth, Jr.; Edwin L. "Eddie" Holzworth of Galveston; and Elmer A. Holzworth of Texas City; and one sister, Clara Hayman, of Houston. She is survived by two sisters: Hanna Nelson of Cleveland, Arkansas; and Carolina "Lena" Sample of Santa Fe; three loving sons: Patrick and wife Patricia of Texas City, Fred and wife Monica of The Woodlands, and Don and wife Anne of League City; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 16th, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Alan Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. The family will receive visitors for 5:00 until 6:30 pm. Tuesday, August 15th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church in Galveston.
